Who We Are
We are an Anglican Parish Church based in the historic village of Wentworth, 4 miles from Rotherham.
Together with Harley Mission Church we serve the villages of Wentworth, Harley, Lea Brook and Street.
We are a diverse community called by and united in Jesus Christ the Light of the World. Our mission is to shine as lights for Christ.
Holy Trinity Wentworth and Harley Mission Church are in the Tankersley Deanery of the Diocese of Sheffield which is part of the Church of England.

Vision and Values
We believe that we are called to be a church at the heart of our community: living in Christ, growing in faith and transforming in love.
The values that guide us are:
- The Bible: A commitment to gospel living.
- Prayer: Depending, as God’s people, on his grace.
- Community: Promoting inclusion at every opportunity.
- Learning: Nurturing newcomers and supporting discipleship.
- Evangelism: Reaching out and welcoming all in the name of Jesus.
- Empowerment: Helping people discover and use their God-given gifts.
- Relevance: Seeking God’s answers to today’s questions.
- Vision: Looking to God’s future for our church.
- Right Relationships: Showing God’s forgiveness, compassion, and integrity in all our relationships.
- Integrity: Offering wholehearted ministry, devotion, and faithfulness, from God’s grace to God’s glory.
- Simplicity: Living humbly before God, using resources wisely and generously.
- Ecumenism: Committed to working alongside Christians of other churches.

Safeguarding
The Parish of Wentworth – Holy Trinity and Harley is committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding to ensure the safety and well being of everyone, with particular attention to children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Accessibility
We seek to offer a warm and inclusive welcome to all and want our churches to be places where everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability can participate fully in worship, fellowship and ministry.
Wentworth has a step free entrance, a hearing loop system and large print hymn books. Unfortunately, we do not have an accessible toilet at present.
We have recently (2025) conducted an accessibility audit and are working to implement its recommendations.
